The Little Blowhole

Situated 1.5km south of the main Blowhole is the Little Blowhole. With a diameter of less than 1 meter, the Little Blowhole is capable of ejecting a salt water spout up to 25 meters in height, accompanied by a loud "oomph!".

The Little Blowhole is active more frequently than its larger brother, as it does not require large seas to drive it. The spray from this Blowhole is often carried by prevailing winds for up to half a kilometer, much to the annoyance of those in the surrounding residential areas on washing day!

The viewing platform provides little in the way of views, with most people choosing to venture closer. With care, its possible to stand right up close to the opening (if you don't mind getting wet).
